Want to build a new Desktop computer in 2022 ? Follow these guidelines:

For setting up a new pc we need few things:

Few Suggestions for different categories of users like school students and college students :

School Students: You have minimal requirements, word, excel, power point, MS-paint etc. and sometimes occasional gaming. (Main unit- ₹ 20000 to ₹ 24000 and full set up with monitor, UPS – 30000K). If you desire to restrict the budget you can restrict within ₹ 25000.

PC under the budget of ₹20000 to ₹25000 AMD processor (Recommended for school students)

Recommended for school students

 College students: You need a system that will support you build your skills or improve any of your skills. High end configuration or closer to high end will make you handle most of softwares. The configuration should be good enough to handle few of the graphics and multimedia software like Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Adobe Premiere and other video editing softwares.

COLLEGE STUDENTS

For computer science students their system should be capable of handling development platforms like VS code, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Android Studio, Pycharm etc.

Decide your budget and choose the parts wisely. A good system configuration should last for longer period. I am not sure about the exact amount but, I can suggest the configuration you should have.

CPU/Processor ——- > minimum of   3GHz/ 3000MHz higher is better.

RAM —- > 8 GB / 16 GB (best)

SSD for OS. This speed up the booting process. Please don’t go for conventional HDD for installing OS on to it. You can use HDD for storage. Always keep extra storage devices like pen-drives, external hard disks for backups.

For a PC under the budget of 35000 and 50000
